On the inauguration of the elected Ministers by the President today, 21st August 2023, Imiegha congratulates the amiable professor for making the trail of Ministers that will diligently serve under the current administration.

“The appointment of Prof. Tahir Mamman is a well-thought recommendation, following his indelible achievement not only as a well-versed educator but also as a seasoned and renowned Law pundit,

HM, Niger Delta, Engr. Abubakar Momoh

“This man came from a humble background. But his childhood limitations did not deter his efforts to achieve way above expectations. His diverse wealth of knowledge spanning into decades is an experience worth tapping from especially as the nation needs a saviour to revamp the deteriorating state of education in Nigeria,” He concluded.

Tahir Mamman is the incumbent Vice-Chancellor of Baze University Abuja, who will spearhead the administration’s Student Loan Initiative.

Also speaking on the appointment of Engr. Abubakar Momoh, the new Minister for Niger Delta Development, Imiegha said “anyone who has come across Momoh knows him to be a man of focus, determination, dedication, and an endearing public servant who understands the tradition of selflessness. Such an admirable personality has earned him an enviable feat. It is no surprise he has been chosen by his Excellency. His role in office will foster peace and unity, harmony, peaceful co-existence and development of the region.”

Dr. Olufemi Imiagha, Fca

Citing the many challenges of heading the exigent ministry, the renowned accountant noted the barricades and difficulties that are inevitable.

Speaking extensively, he further said, “The Niger Delta ministry just like what we have in the NDDC is a huge challenge, especially as it is the oil-rich region of the country where the country’s oil wealth is domiciled. Due to the various agitations from the Niger Delta people, especially as it regards environmental degradation from oil spillage, youth unemployment, infrastructural deficit, poverty, and insecurity, the task ahead is not an enviable one,

“The Minister should surround himself with people who will tell him the truth at all times, not minding whose horse is gored” he advised.

Dr. Imiegha, a famous supporter of the Afenmai people, supporting member of Etsako Club 81, Abuja Chapter, and Chief Executive of Avrum Restaurant, Wines and Bar stated that Momoh, having served at various levels in the political space, from being a councilor, member of the Edo State House of Assembly, and thereafter serving at the National Assembly as a member of the House of Representatives, will no doubt take the Niger Delta Region and Nigeria in general to an enviable feat.

He expressed his gratitude to his brothers and sisters who have supported Momoh in the past and recent times, as he urged everyone who believes in the Niger Delta Region to further give their support in fostering community development through youths and women empowerment.

Engineer Abubakar Momoh hails from North- Ibie, Okpekpe in Etsako East local government area of Edo State and he was one of the APC Aspirants of the House of Representatives during the last general election.
