The Nigerian Ambassador to Hungary, His Excellency, Abass Braimah, has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Nigeria’s economic and diplomatic interests as he continues to engage key stakeholders in Hungary – Nigeria bilateral relations, signaling an active and results-driven diplomatic agenda.

In a high-level diplomatic engagement held in Abuja, Ambassador Braimah met with the Hungarian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Loránd Endreffy, alongside Kristóf Kőrősi, Deputy Head of Mission at the Hungarian Embassy in Abuja.
The strategic meeting focused on strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Hungary across key sectors, including trade and investment, education, culture, and private sector collaboration.

The Hungarian Ambassador, His Excellency, Loránd Endreffy, expressed strong optimism and enthusiasm about the prospects of enhanced cooperation, noting Hungary’s readiness to further deepen engagement with Nigeria across priority sectors of shared interest.

Ambassador Abass Braimah emphasized that the engagement reflects a deliberate and forward-looking diplomatic posture aimed at accelerating tangible outcomes in bilateral relations, particularly in areas that directly impact economic growth and human capital development.
He reiterated Nigeria’s readiness to expand cooperation in non-oil trade, education partnerships, cultural exchange programs, and business facilitation frameworks that will support stronger institutional linkages between both countries.
The meeting further reaffirmed a shared commitment to repositioning Nigeria–Hungary relations toward a more dynamic and impact-oriented partnership model, with both sides expressing confidence in the prospects of stronger collaboration in the near future.
