I am delighted to officially introduce to the public my new female co-worker, having searched over the years after my two hardworking female co-workers (Milicent Umoru and Bukoka Oyarekhua) got married and decided to move on with their businesses and jobs.

I have Made several statements about having so much work but Professionals being few, and out of the very few professionals many have various discouraging dispositions that many well meaning citizens would not like to tolerate, that I did not employ a female co-worker did not mean that I have not been searching, I have searched and I found none until about a few weeks ago when I was introduced to Blessing Etim at the 40th Year Anniversary of the Association of Nigerian Authors where I played a pivotal role and later elected National Treasure.

I first noticed that our chemistry matched, she smiled the moment she saw me, but I was not convinced, I needed one more thing, her dedication and manner of attending to task which was displayed having been with us at the Registration Desk of the Convention for five days, “I found those qualities in her” a deep thought.

I still was not  convinced so we decided to talk after the Convention, I gave her an assignment  to cover the Convention and she delivered. I did not contact her further because I was still being reserved, a few days she contacted me and said she is convinced that she can work with me having checked our famous blogs, I did not waste time, I got her interviewed, and I told her to send her Curriculum Vitae and application letter which she did. “She looked serious”, I got a conviction.

Blessing is set for the Journalism job at Stars and Styles Communications where we hardly sleep, and she is ready to explore. A highly motivated and result-driven communication expert,  possessing a wide range of abilities and exceptional knowledge in Journalism, verbal and written Communication and strategic management.

She has contributed valuable contents to several projects and platforms. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PDG) in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, Ado-Ekiti and a BA in English Education from the University of Calabar, Calabar.

She is taking over the role I have played for over a decade as a writer/reporter of Stars and Styles Blog along other responsibilities. As I officially introduce her today and and wish her happy birthday, I urge the public and existing clients to endeavour to do business with her and grant her interviews when she comes requesting.

This is to also thank our esteemed readers for being there for us.

Happy Birthday Blessing Etim. Be merry and have a robust Boxing Day.
