The Minister of State, Finance Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, has disclosed that his three core mandates in government are to return Nigeria’s Budget Implementation Cycle to January – December Calendar, develop the National Development Plan (2021-2025 ) and Agenda 2050, and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation mechanism.

The Open Government Partnership, Nigeria Co-Chair, Agba, disclosed this during the 2022 OGP Champions sharing of leadership experience in government with 27 reformers from Africa and the Middle East under the auspices of the Open Government Leadership Collaborative in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Agba said his tenure was able to deliver on the three focus areas with the developing of the National Development Plan (2021-2025 ) and Agenda 2050 at 90% currently.
The on-going champions experience-based forum that have actors from both civil society organisations and government is pre-event that will feature more healthy conversations towards the OGP Africa and Middle East Regional Summit.
