The Presidents, as well as members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and Association of Nigerian Authors amongst other distinguished personalities were present to join an iconic Founder, Lois Adams, who was recognized as the most influential founder by Wake up Africa Initiative.
While addressing correspondents of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Adams who said that one does not need to be President of a country, or financially loaded, to be able to impact others, further said that she is being honoured as the most influential founder not because she is the richest but because she is passionate.
She added that she feels fulfilled when she shares her little resources and time with others who are not too privileged like her and she has made this tradition consistent over the years.
The Writers Village was jammed with traffic yesterday as guests who attended the June Edition of Mbari Series attended the award ceremony organized by the Secretary of the Abuja Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Chimnemezu Nwaeze VinePaul.
