The project committee of the Nigeria of My Dream School Competition and Events host the season 5 of the annual event with the theme: Arise O Compatriot; Nigeria in dire need of Nationalists not politicians.

The event as hosted by Mr. Peter Igho, MFR., Patron of the NoMD Sterling Performance Award, took place at the Main Auditorium of Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, Thursday June 1, 2017 enmarking the journey of a better Nigeria.

According to Igho, “the most important guests in the event today are the young school children, what impresses me most is the presence of these children, the future of tomorrow not those routine promises from our politicians.”

He added that If we don’t inculcate good values in our children the slogan “Our children are the leaders of tomorrow” will be a mere talk.

“It will be interesting to listen to these children speak their minds about Nigeria of their dream and what they think about Nigeria. I urge parents to find time to be with these children always if we really believe in them”, he said.

The annual event which took its debut on 18 October 2012, has concentrated in building and reviving the hope of Nigeria through the Children who are the leaders of tomorrow.

The chairman of the event Mr. Otunba Segun Runsewe, Director General, National Council for Arts and Culture, stressed on the survival of the society via the young ones, noting that Nigerians today are enjoying the effort of the past nationalists .

In attendance were nationalists, patriots, coordinators, students and pupils from various primary and secondary schools.
