Celebrating a worthy Leader: Adolphus Joe Ekpe, fnim.

0

When Sir. Adolphus Joe Ekpe assumed leadership of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission about four years ago as the Director General, the challenge was how to advance on the foundation established by the previous DG., Mr. Peter Igho, MFR and build a Commission that would serve as the bedrock of Nigeria’s economic and infrastructure development financing for ages.

As he hands over the mantle of leadership to the newly appointed Director General, Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila, it is very clear that the Commission has become well positioned to rival all other world class Games and Lottery Regulators around the world.

DG Adolphus Joe Ekpe ignited a vision that members of staff and stakeholders are happy and proud to run with. Dogged and forever cheerful, he cared for everyone, fought and prayed for the Commission, addressed every staff by name, respectful, kind, supportive; he supported staff morally, financially, he was the teacher who led by establishing good examples as he piloted the affairs and business of the Commission. He was the perfect gentleman, humble yet resolute; his lifestyle and achievements standing tall as sterling legacy beyond reproach.

Brick to brick, stone to stone, the redefining works of the Commission in facilitating prosperity and national development would definitely continue under the auspices of the new leadership. However, DG Adolphus Joe Ekpe will remain on the Commission’s Hall of Fame; a fine Knight and promoter of good causes, a man to be remembered as evidence of all the greatness every Nigerian can achieve.

We are celebrating the big boss, the kind father and outgoing DG of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mr. Adolphus Joe Ekpe. May all his future endeavors be rewarding, and may he remain fulfilled through times.

God bless Nigeria!
