“EVERY ETSAKO CLUB ’81 MEMBER TO BECOME A MILLIONAIRE” – NEW PRESIDENT

In a resolute affirmation, Barrister Greg Otsu, the President of Etsako Club ’81 world-wide, a seasoned stock broker, pledged to collaborate with club members across various chapters to ensure that every member attains millionaire status during his tenure. This commitment was announced during the Abuja Chapter’s 2023 End-of-Year Party held at the Avrum Restaurant and Bar, Wuse 2, Abuja on December 17th, 2023.
 
Acknowledging a beautiful thank-you gift for his steadfast support since the chapter’s inception, Barrister Otsu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the end-of-year party alongside the Abuja Chapter. He vowed to actively contribute to bolstering chapter membership, praying for the member’s well-being and the chance to steer the club towards its envisioned goals. He also extended his heartfelt appreciation to everyone for their unwavering support to the club.


 
A significant highlight of the event was the presence and address by legal luminary Prof. Mike Ozekhomhe (SAN), the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria from the Weppa Wanna Kingdom. He encouraged members to uphold integrity while pursuing their careers, emphasizing the need for synergy in shaping a better Nigeria, Edo State, and particularly, Etsako.
 
The celebration escalated when Prof. Ozekhome took the stage, by attracting donations from esteemed guests for the chapter, stating that money is essential to encourage and pilot efficiently the affairs of the Abuja Chapter of Etsako Club’81.
 
Expressing his gratitude to all and sundry, the outgoing Chairman, Hon. Usman Dauda appreciated all who took their time to attend the party. Also, the incoming Chairman, Comrade Eustice James assured that his tenure would build upon the accomplishments of the outgoing executives.
 


Other notable figures who addressed the gathering included Roland Otaru (SAN), the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria from Edo North. A man whom SAN Ozekhome described as one who pioneered the partway for Edo North indigenes to attain the enviable status of being a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Chris Itsede, Past President (PP) of Etsako Club 81; Barrister (Mrs.) Josephine Ozekhome, Chief Ibrahim Omokpaire, Chairman of the yet-to-be-inaugurated United Kingdom Chapter; Etsako Club 81 National Legal Adviser and Chairman of Branch establishment, Barrister Sadiq Ilegiuno; Barrister Bisi Idaomi, Edo North political leader; Hon. Queen Abibat, President; Edo Women World Wide Association (EWWA), outgoing and incoming executive members of the Abuja Branch, members, prospective members and guests.
 
The event’s atmosphere was vibrant, with its esthetics inflamed by indigenous music, engaging conversations, discussions on values and diverse interests, jokes, ample food, beverages, and pleasurable dance steps.   
The year’s end-of-year celebration stands as a memorable occasion, with accolades and support pouring in from members across the national body and other chapters.
