The author of Sage of Growth…reflections of a policy economist, Taiwo Francis Akerele has embarked on national book tour amongst political elites in Abuja.
He has embarked on this tour to create a positive understanding of the book as well harmonize the society into accepting a common good in economic growth of our society
The first phase of the tour started in Abuja last Month where the author has used his book to galvanize support for the youths, urging political leaders to carry along young people in policy making and implementation.
Amongst the people he has visited are the Honourable Minister for State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba and honourable minister for Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare. Akerele has advised the Federal Government through the Ministry of Youths and Sports to ensure that the N75bn Nigerian Youth Fund is properly and professionally managed for better results.
The Author also met the Director General, Progressive Governor Forum, Dr Salihu Lukman, Hon Peter Akpatason, Deputy Majority leader of the House of Representatives, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, Chairman, House Committee on Basic Education, Hon Festus Keyamo, Hon Minister of State, Labour and Productivity and others.

In maintaining a successful quest for a better society, he is set to meet other top government funtionaries at the presidency in Abuja.
Taiwo Francis Akerele is a trained banker with World Bank experience, member of several literary associations, he was a reliable shoulder of the Adams Oshiomole led Edo State Economic Team and former Chief of Staff to Edo state Governor, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki.
