It is official August 24, 2019, that Chuks D General, as he is fondly called, is a married man.
A few months ago, I was invited by owners of Mima Midas Designs to one of the funniest comedy shows in the history of Nigeria, themed ‘Generally Speaking’ held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, organized by Chuks, one of the finest comedians who happens to be the Brand Ambassador of Mima Midas Designs and Fashion Institute.
For the benefit of those who missed the show permit me to state that during the event, his Parents pleaded that his fans should encourage their Son to look for his better half. After the plea, I also prayed for God’s design towards ensuring that the day in a way to look beautiful in the eyes of guests, I also prayed I witness it, but little did I know my prayer was answered. Yesterday, I was live at Chuks D General’s wedding and I had so much fun with family members and friends.
The power of the tongue can be loyal. No wonder comedians are favoured. Just say it, and it will come to pass. God answered our prayers, yes, the prayer of a mother is answered, and it manifested yesterday, CHUKS D GENERAL is married to his heart throb, Ngozi Stella and they have become one.
The church wedding started at 10:00am, before 12:00noon, the reception hall boomed with fantastic music by DJ Fancy, with beautiful guests, well dressed, the atmosphere was hotly splendid, the Groom, in his hyper active mood, stepped in with his pretty wife. On reaching the stage, CHUKS almost took over the stage, thinking it was his usual event. But the MC did not spare him, “Chuks, relax, seat down, today is your day”, his heart throb in her joyful mood added colour to Chuks’ expression by her sparkling smiles, and they danced to the couple’s stand.
His wedding is indeed a dream come through for his parents and fans who passionately wanted Chuks to get hooked and wisely caged. Uhmmn!
Feeding the bride during the cutting of the cake, Chuks almost kissed her but, who says he should not kiss his bride, after they have been joined together as one, but their parents could have realized how spoilt their children, now Mr. Jude & Mrs. Ngozi Okoh have been. (Laughs)
The special couple dance was a high point of the programme, Chuks displayed his flexible talents and entertained his guests, it was confirmed yesterday that the personality of Chuks D General is synonymous to showbiz.
There were lots of foods, drinks, cakes, we danced and had fun.
May the good Lord bless the new couple and grant them their heart desires, Amen.
