The maiden edition of a blasting and thunderous event, powered by Razor Media Company, and proudly supported by the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), and the United Bank for Africa ( UBA), with the theme ‘Celebrating our Heroes of Democracy’ got the entire Asaba overwhelmed with conviviality and another opportunity to celebrate the last Sunday of the year, 29th December, 2019.
Notable personalities like the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obianor, Archbishop Nicholas Okoh, captains of industries, the traditional rulers, political office holders, religious institutions and top class comedians were nominated and meritoriously awarded.
All awardees and attendees described the event held in Western Elomaz Hotels, and its proceedings, as very objective, matured and worthy of being sustained as more unsung heroes deserve to be celebrated for their tenacity, doggedness, objectivity, constrictive criticisms and other unrelentless efforts made in various sectors.
The Convener, Odita Sunday, described the event as a rare one and stated that the event will hold to honour more distinguished unsung heroes of Democracy annually.
