| Taiwo Akerele and Chief Bisi Akande |
By Joshua Idogho
Both the cosmological and Celestial bodies were thrown into unprecedented merriment and conviviality, when the Illagun town of the present day Osun State, received a bouncing baby boy, who later transmogrified into an Iroko and mathematical politician, on the 16th day of January, 1939.
Chief Bisi Akande, as he is fondly called, recorded an overwhelming victory in a keenly contested election under the Alliance for Democracy (AD), against other major political parties and became the Governor of Osun State in 1999, which equally paved way for the inauguration of the 2nd Assembly of Osun State, on 31st May, 1999.
His leadership and political inclination endeared the likes of Comrade Taiwo Francis Akerele, the present Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Edo State to this father, with essential and quintessential ability and capabilities, as it takes only an enigma to attain such feat.
May God Almighty strengthen you and cause your health and sound mind to grow geometrical as your age grow arithmetically.
Happy Birthday once again to a political colossus and father of all.
