A highly celebrated son of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, Hon. Bawa Mohammed Qaleeph, has been honored with the prestigious chieftaincy title of “Aimiehinmi-Okun of Sobe Kingdom,” meaning “You can’t see the back of an Ocean.” This occasion, held at Odibiado’s Palace, Sobe, on September 27, 2025, recognized Bawa’s outstanding contributions to the community.

In a grand ceremony, the endearing icon and philanthropist, was conferred with the title by His Royal Highness, Anthony Ero Aleburu I, and his Council of Chiefs. Aleburu described Bawa as a fit and proper person for the honor, praising his philanthropic efforts toward Edo North’s development.

His notable contributions include strong financial support to thousands of youths in business, employment support, talent development investments in Nigerian institutions, and empowerment of women in various communities.
