After a rigorous process of trying to obtain a permit to run the penalty game, Mr. Emmanuel Akpakwu, Chairman, Dakinda Football for Every Home unveiled plans to launch the scheme on Thursday 12 January, at the Old Parade Ground, Abuja.
During an interview with Stars and Styles, Mr. Akpakwu, stated that the scheme would be replicated in rural areas after the launch; promised Nigerians he will not disappoint them as the scheme will be transparent, going by his primary aim to giving back to the society at large.
The Director General of the regulatory body, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mr. Adolphus Joe Ekpe, also, promised on behalf of the commission, to give maximum support to the scheme that is becoming a product and going global to make an indelible mark in the lives of Nigerians. He also stated that the idea is a worthwhile venture therefore, he urged the promoters to put public opinion into consideration.
He further advised Dakinda Group to have an understanding with locations of operations and put the rules and regulations of the commission in mind to sustain business in an efficient and effective ground.
