Lois Otse Adams-Osigbemhe’s achievements are deeply rooted in her parents’ influence. Hailing from a distinguished and impactful family with a disciplined upbringing, she is the daughter of Prof. Charles Johnson Omokhogie Adamu, a highly educated and accessible community builder, and Mrs. Florence Uduone Adamu, a well-spoken, caring, business-oriented, and beloved family icon.
A celebrated and award-winning Nigerian author, educator, and advocate, Adams-Osigbemhe has worked tirelessly to uphold her parents’ legacy, leaving a lasting impact through her literary and social contributions.

Her book Stigma(2024), approved by the National Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), is under review by state governments, while Udukh: The Surrogate Daughter(2017), also NERDC-approved, is used by institutions such as the Nigerian Army, Air Force, Navy, Defence, Police, Immigration, Customs, NDLEA, and the Ministry of Women Affairs to train personnel on inclusion.
Her other works, including Olaitan Oyerinde: His Struggles for a Better Nigeria(2012) and Flying Five Flags(2021), co-authored with her father, explore themes of social justice, unity, and moral lessons, resonating widely with readers.

As a Representative Lecturer at the University of Abuja in Broadcasting, Film, and Multimedia; Technical Tutor at Edo University in Mass Communication; and Practical Faculty member at various government and private institutions, Adams-Osigbemhe inspires future media professionals and adults aspiring to retire as communication experts.
She holds a Ph.D. in Theology with a focus on Christian Education and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Media Arts, specializing in Political/Public Communication. She also holds master’s degrees in Media Arts and Christian Education, alongside a first degree in Mass Communication.

Within the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), she served as National Treasurer (2021–2023) and Transition Chairman (2021), unifying the organization during challenging times. She previously held roles as Treasurer and Publicity Secretary in the Abuja Chapter. Her community efforts include establishing mini school libraries and creative clubs, promoting literacy and artistic expression, and advocating for marginalized groups.
Her works and dogged commitment to charity have earned her numerous local and international awards, including an Honorary Doctorate from IRSBACCOM University.
Dr. Adams-Osigbemhe continues to inspire through her multifaceted career as a media personality and her experience in tourism, where she has led both government and private delegations on international tours.
Today, as she receives the ANA Abuja Distinguished Merit Award (2025) in recognition of her support to ANA Abuja and the development of the written craft, she dedicates this honor to her father, who was the oldest member of ANA before his passing in 2017, and to the authors’ association for promoting exceptional value in its members
