FCT Province 18 Pastors, Sola Olukoya and Pastor (Mrs.) Titi Olukoya have wowed to raise widows from poverty and bring as many as possible to Christ.
Pastor (Mrs.) Olukoya made this pronouncement at the just concluded Widows of Zion Convention, with the theme, Women Thou Art Loosed, organized by the Province, 20th November 2022.
In her remarks, the multi-talent author and dimensional community personality, Mrs. Olukoya while giving appreciation to God, stated that the women’s wing of the province, Spotless Bride, is aimed at providing gospel-centred and spiritual support, information, friendship, and fun/educational activities to widowed members so that together they can live well and all make it to heaven.

“It is with Jesus’ joy that we are here today hail and healthy to the glory of God because if there is life there is hope. FCT Province 18 Women Wing cares about widows and all women around the world,” she said.
Mrs. Olukoya stated that widowhood is a part of womanhood, adding that with compassion and commitment every woman will be lifted above social challenges.

She read the book of James 1:27 to buttress her point, saying that the spotless bride convention was the first of its kind and has come to stay.
She lamented the lack of love and care for women and advised that it is the responsibility of the Church to make sure that all spotless brides were loved and cared for both spiritually and physically.
“Through the Christian Social Responsibility (CSR) of RCCG FCT 18, my husband and I cannot fold our hands and look while widows struggle to survive. Besides, the core reason we are called is to make sure people live well and make heaven,” she said.

“Looking at the scripture in Luke 13:12 and when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. I believe it is important that women get healed and released in their spirits.”
“God knows how to take a mess and turn it into a miracle. If you are in a mess, do not be too upset about it because God specializes in fixing messes. Today many women will be set free and delivered to fulfil their purpose in the Kingdom of God,” she admonished.
The convention, with the theme “Woman thou art loosed”, saw both Muslims and Christians in attendance and came with healing the wounds of the past so widows can smile again. It is a conference that soothed all manner of traumas, tragedies, and disappointments.
“Together we must erase the stigma of widowhood, the barriers widows face to resources and economic opportunities to survive, and the high risk to widows of sexual abuse and exploitation.
“We must end the manipulation of inheritance laws to deprive widows of assets and entitlements on cultural, religious or social grounds.
“And we must ensure that widows of all ages and their children are treated as equal human beings with equal human rights, including the right to shape their own futures and live lives with confidence and dignity,” she said.
Immediately after her prayer, the economic empowerment had in packages, 300 bags of rice, 47 bags of Beans,175 bags of Garri,180 pieces of Ankara, cash and many more shared amongst over 1000 participants who came from within and outside Abuja.
The medical Team discovered that a large number of participants were living with High Blood Pressure without medical attention. They were treated, enlightened and guided on how they can manage the deadly ailment.
