Dr. Gloria K. Ahmed Hope Foundation, on Monday 3rd October, 2022 with her team of experts gave inspiration and hope to youths of Kurmin Tagwaye Community of Nasarawa State.
The event, with the theme, The Unstoppable Youth, featured notable entertainers like, Micman Pius, MC Dan, and Comedian Ice. The youths who came out in droves were thrilled with comedy, game, music, and dance, and people living with disabilities were not left behind as they joined in the unity gathering.

Guest Speakers at the event were Christopher Piwuna, a Professor of Medicine and Head of Psychiatric Department, University of Jos as well as the President of Psychiatric Association of Nigeria; Comrade Eveh Dominic of Youth Partnership for Africa’s Development, (YouPad) who was represented by Comrade Ibrahim Thaddeus Maiyanga;
Sa’adatu Adamu, Founder, Secure-D-Future International Initiative (SDF), and well mental health counselor working with victims of human trafficking, rape, substance and emotional abuse and Barrister Victor Manga, a Magistrate and also a Pastor at the Kings Summit Church, Akwanga, Nasarawa State.

In their various remarks, they charged the youths to shun any act of violence, contribute to peace of their community and Nigeria in general and endeavour to actualize their God given talents. Furthermore, consequences of drugs abuse, which are brain damage and dimentia, weakness of organs, violence, infertility, early pregnancy and inability to go to school, destruction of family joy, threat to society, and death, were discussed.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Christopher Piwuna further pleaded with them to shun social vices and embrace the opportunity created by the Foundation to live the best live God has designed for them as citizens.
The Founder and President, Dr. Gloria Kudi Ahmed, a community lover and passionate servant who feels the pain of her people, in collaboration with community leaders and monarchs admonished that she will only find fulfilment in her career if her community is peaceful.

“I am one of you, we are sisters and brothers, what affects you – the community affects me, I can not do well in the city if my brothers and sisters are not doing well. Yesterday I was there, today I am here, by hard work, perseverance, and determination to succeed. I have come again today, to have heart to heart conversation with you, to agree with you on excellent conducts that will give you an edge, and also to enjoy the Independence Day Celebration with you, my brothers and sisters, I encourage you to persevere to enable you know who you are, to know how special you are, to fulfil your purpose on earth and you have to do it for yourselves.” She advised.
“Yes, one may not be where he wanted to be but you are no longer where you used to be, we have to be the reason our community is progressing by making sure we do not support or engage in any kind of violence that will lead to crises and cause nightmares to our parents and elders. We need a peaceful community and peaceful youths to be able to achieve greatness as one family, and remember that you are the leaders of the Nation” the Founder further expressed.
High point of the event was the inspirational session where most of the youths surrendered their lives to God and gave testimonies, some who are into various negative acts had a change of mind and decided to drop their habits, while some promised to amend their ways, some appreciated the Foundation for exposing to them dangers of drugs and saving them from going into it.
After the prayer session, Ahmed thanked her people for giving her the opportunity to make positive impacts on the youths and appreciated the youths for their commitments and for coming out to embrace change.
