The erection of a structure in tandem with the World Health Organisation (WHO) standard, containing Ten bedspaces for in-patents, One consulting room, One nursing section, One  Out- Patients Department (OPD), Dressing and emergency room, with good convinces as a Clinic, was a timely intervention to rescue the Yemetu people from consistent illnesses, diseases, deaths and other health challenges.

One of the challenges being faced by the rural dwellers in Nigeria from inception has always been lack of health care system and services, while some have never had access to adequate health facilities, prompt  services, etc, others also are bedevilled by dearth  of these services.

Majority had been shortchanged and  denied the rights to free and affordable medical interventions by corrupt government and people saddled with the responsibility of making judicious use of taxpayer’s money.

This has indeed subjected these people to severe pains, emanating from diseases and all manner of illnesses, with the attendant consequences of untimely deaths.

Malaria in some areas can be seen as a common ailment for Africans that can be easily treated, but this infection accumulated by mosquitos bites have led multitudes living in rural areas to painful deaths as reported almost annually by the WHO and the National Bureau of Statistics ( NBS), while a larger percentage of these deaths are not recorded in the society but known to be very untimely. This is as a result of a failed health care system, with the government always very insensitive to such plight and challenges.

Some have died of complications from various ailments like typhoid, apendicitis, eye related diseases, athritis, cold, diarrhea, etc.

This has become a recurring decimal and also becoming institutionalized as a  tradition, as majority has resigned to fate.

The fate of every citizen should be objective to be able to lead to a good end, in terms of food, shelter, clothing and good health, but reverse has been the case, as these communities have been abandoned by the government whose core responsibility is to carter for her citizens, but how did we find ourselves as a people in this dungeon, which has negatively reshaped the conscience of our leaders and the society at large, to neglect the people whom they are meant to be so dear to?

The North Regional Office of the Habitation of Hope, under the leadership of Pastor Sola Olukoya, the Chairperson, has identified the urgent  need for every child, mother, father, the young and old, and any citizen or resident of our dear country Nigeria, to live and to have life.

In view of the above and  having done several and objective researches in  various communities, Yemetu village emerged the community amongst others that requiring the  most urgent attention, emergency and kind gesture.

The Clinic has been christened after the Visionary and Founder, Folu Adenike Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); the dedication in conjuction with Jesus Embassy of the RCCG is in commemoration of the Visionary’ 71st birthday.

The people have never experienced or enjoyed the provision of health care services, let alone  having one at their finger tip within the  community. The community leaders expressed total satisfaction and showered prayers, and encomiums on the man of God for making the project a reality as they never thought or expect an individual to wipe their tears of several decades, while also describing the gesture as  a dream come true for  the entire community.

While other communities are kept under review for same gesture, Folu Adenike Adeboye Health Clinic which was built in the mid 2019 (a few months ago), is now set for commissioning and dedication, unveiling and ultimately launched into the league of health Centres in Nigeria, come  November 5, 2019 by the Founder and a worthy Visionary who has mentored women in the corridors of power, Mrs. Folu Adenike Adeboye.

Habitation of Hope Foundation is where Nigerian Children, young adults, women and others are taken out of the streets and given life time sucour and hope, it is driven by professionalism and dedicated efforts to make the less privileged ones feel the impact of private governance.

The general public is cordially invited to give moral supports as Yemetu village experiences wonders and true magnanimity, benevolence and humanitarian service in practice.
