The book Presentation also had memorable speeches and recommendations from many greatminds that were present. In that light, the Honourable Minister of Finance and National planning Prince Clem Ikanade Agbai in his key address said ‘Many individuals did not attain their positive personality traits at birth. While some people are born with a good sense of humour and a lot of charisma, others lack these features and find it almost impossible to acquire them. However, generally speaking, most positive personality traits can be acquired and developed to help you become a more attractive, charismatic and successful person.

He further stated that some personalities already well endowed can enhance their qualities to become more outstanding in running through life stages! If you are self-confident you always have an advantage over those who constantly doubt themselves because strong-willed people often inspire others and they handle situations better in their various flags of life. He said that It does not matter where you find yourself, if you are self-confident you are more likely to climb up the career ladder faster than those you met at a certain level. If you are self-confident don’t perceive the reactions of other people as rules that you must follow and you do not have the need to seek out their approval.

He explained that it is because self-confident people control their lives themselves and they take responsibility for their actions also people should learn to develop a good Sense of Humour. He added that sometimes people should laugh at their failure to get inspired to work harder because the story behind those who flew their flags well is humorous.

That with a good sense of humour, working harder will seem stress-free for one. That people like those who have humorous personalities and in most cases tend to do better in their careers. Laughter is an element that can help you cope with stress, see positivity, and communicate with others.

He further said that witty people are likely to be appreciated more and a lot of people want to be around them because they are easygoing and fun to be with and they should endeavour to enhance their associative thinking skills as many jokes are based on a stable mind’.

Having said the above, the Honourable Minister  also touched on the importance of creativity as he reminded all that it is through creative and motivating works as Flying Five Flags that negative narratives can be turned to positive narratives at homes and in the society at large and thus admonished all to dwell in the paths of creativity and didacticism to make the world a better place.

Going further, Emmanuel Ogbeche who was the reviewer, recommended the book as a guide to parenting, noting it could help in shaping the mind of children and help to grow to become better persons as against fraudsters and what not.

He said: “There is a need for us to get a guide to parenting so we can help children navigate through the course of life. the recommendation is that the federal ministry of education adopt this book into our secondary school because it is at that stage we catch them young, so children can imbibe values that would sustain the society  from decadence.”

Speaking also at the event, the President of NAWOJ, Mrs. Ladi Bala, reiterated the need to go back to our roots, adding, parents need to stay away from life pursuits which makes them  forget their  responsibilities as parents.

“We need to go back to the drawing board, Parents need to up their game. If our children are not well brought up they will be a reproach and liability to us and the society. We need to be deliberate on the kind of investments we are making on our children, as we mold the future we want to see.

Also speaking, Lois Otse Adams who is  the Co-author, told journalists  that the book was written to help both parents and children make amends. She said that would be distributed to many secondary schools to help children imbibe morals and values needed for a better society.

“I am quiet passionate about the Nigeria child, I want them to grow up and be responsible to their parents and the society at large. We have tried changing adults behaviors but we have realized how difficult it is to change adults so we want to catch them young. To this effect we are not stopping here. We shall continue to go to secondary schools to give them physical and literary education, and encourage them to be passionate about reading,” Adams said.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), who was represented by CSP Ogbonnaya, in his remarks highlighted the contribution of the book to nation building as it would help in building the moral standard of individuals in the country.

“The society is better when the community and the parents are co trainers of the child but the responsibility has drifted solely to the parents. We all can make a difference wherever we are to make Nigeria better and safer place for habitation and investments,” he said.

It was noted that morals and values are lacking in Nigeria, but this book draws us back on how we can take back our country. The book would help us grow the children well for the future and correct the wrongs we have done.

Reviewing the book he noted that every stage of life is equally significant  but parenting stands as the most important factor on the growth and development of a child.  “whatever the children turns into, is the responsibility of the parents because what you give is what you receive” he said.
