In a bid to celebrate iconic writers and deliberate on the way forward in developing the biggest umbrella bother of creative writers and authors, the Association of Nigerian Authors, Abuja Chapter is set to hold another edition of its Monthly reading and general assembly.
The June Edition holds today, 12th June, 2022, at the Mamman Vasta Writers Village, Mpape, Abuja at 1:30pm.
The Guest Author who is an Elder and Advisor to the Association, Chukwudi Eze, will be reading from his Book, ‘Return of Half-something’ to trill the audience.
The celebrated Book was shortlisted for the ANA Literary Prize 2018, the Chinua Achebe Prize for Literature 2021 and long listed for the NLNG Literature Prize 2021.
The Chapter under the leadership of Taiwo Akerele is resolute to engage members on dynamic issues to raise the status of the association, members of the Abuja Chapter and Book Enthusiasts are on this note enjoined to prepare ahead of the meeting as you will be thrilled by the reading session.
The National President, Association of Nigerian Authors, Camilus Ukah will be ably represented by members of his executive as well as past leaders.
Members, writers of well written books, readers and lovers of intellectual creativity are urged not to miss this interactive and creative event that will feature poetry reading, more impressive scenes as well as other literary side attractions.
The Mamman Vasta Writers Village is the biggest and largest Writers Village in Africa.
