In her efforts to fine-tune several areas and discussions towards the preparations of the Carnival come December 26th, 2018, the convener, Patience Sheilu Afebu met with the Auchi team, stakeholders, sons and daughters of Afemai to get their reassurances of their unwavering supports for the carnival.
Chief Executive of Moore Boulevard Hotels and Suites gave the organizers uninterupted access to use the hotel for meetings in preparations for both the auchi unveiling and the carnival. This is down to the unwavering support he has for the Carnival. Severel decisions were taken, more units created and endorsements were given by other prominent persons.
Speaking at several meetings, the converner expressed joy about the manner every member has showcased the rich cultural heritages of the land through the carnival preparations, she added that to further show commitments, stakeholders should endeavour to explore the opportunity to design branded T-shirts and other survenirs for the Carnival and share for both guests and members of the community.
She thanked the Otaru of Auchi Kingdom, Ogieneni of Uzairue Kingdom and others of their royal support towards the carnival.
While several picked forms, others who identified with carnival are Mr. Seid Oshiomhole, Barr. Ahmed Waziri, the popular Edo born comedian, Maleke and other prominent personalities.
