One of the prominent qualities of the Edo North born Son, Chief Richard Oshokhai Lamai is his ability to keep his integrity before his people of Fugar, within his local government, Etsako Central, other local government areas, Etsako West and Etsako East and the whole of his Senatorial District, Edo North. The push behind his focus in bringing back quality life to the district and his taste for a united constituents is unstoppable.
In his campaigns he reminded the good people of his Etsako community that water which is an indispensable need for all including; human, animal and plant over the years has become a scarce commodity in Etsako Federal Constituency. While he further stated that successive governments have tried to provide this important and indispensable nessecity of life with little or no success, he lamented that it now looks impossible, that the people have thus accepted the anomaly as a way of life.
Emulating leaders whose representations have attracted development in the earlier lives of the people where water flowed from taps in Auchi, to Jattu, extending to Fugar and other areas of the constituency, he expressed that same good life our fathers enjoyed has to come to the people again.
“I shall in synergy with local government authorities and other agencies to embark on the provision of boreholes with reservoirs. The existing boreholes that have become dysfunctional shall be renovated and there will be reticulation of water in these reservoirs to designated public taps where our people get it to use.Thereby bringing quality life to our people” -Chief Richard Lamai, Aspirant for the House of representatives, representing Etsako Federal Constituency assured.
