A former Senatorial and House of Representatives Aspirant, Edo North and Etsako Federal Constituency respectively, Chief Richard Oshokhai Lamai will be gracing the 2021/2022 and fourth annual national convention of the Authors in School Creative (AiS) Club, with his presence.
Lamai who doubles as the club’s advisor, was officially invited to make a guest appearance at the convention, with the theme; ‘Creativity: A Surviving Tool for the present Generation’ scheduled to hold on 18th July, 2022.
The Invitation was contained in a statement signed by the Club’s National President, Joshua Idogho, titled; ‘Notification Of 2021/2022 (4th) Annual Convention/Invitation To Make A Guest Appearance’.
In the statement, the club Founders, Amb. Lois Otse Adams and Rev. Fr. Reginald Adogamhe, appreciated Lamai for his consistent support, noting that his endless efforts have propelled young minds to aspire to be great personalities even while in schools.
The Statement reads in part; “On behalf of the Founders, Amb. Lois Otse Adams and Rev. Fr. Reginald Adogamhe, I sincerely appreciate you for your usual moral and financial support towards the Authors – in – School Creative Club. Furthermore, I am delighted to inform you that your endless efforts have propelled both our young members and non-members to aspire to be great personalities even while in schools.”
“In view of the above, this is to inform you about the 4th Edition of the Club’s National Convention/Annual General Meeting, with theme; ‘Creativity: A Surviving Tool for the present Generation’ scheduled to hold on 18th July, 2022 at 10:00am. We request your usual support to make this year’s edition a memorable one.”
While maintaining that this year’s convention will be held virtually, the statement however noted that the next edition will be held physically, with lots of literatures and literary projects to be officially launched and presented.
“Having prioritized the safety of our members as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Insecurity ranging the Country, while the 4th Edition is held online we shall work towards making the 5th Edition physical, with lots of literatures through the Anthology and literary projects to be officially launched and presented. We are committed to a positive change to enable us continue to connect with our student members as we enrich the creative industry.”Joshua Idogho noted.
Other personalities and advisors to grace the event are; Ms. Aishah Gambari, public affairs analyst and Keynote Speaker, Joseph Okhakia, Rev. Fr. Innocent Elogie, Comrade Chris Oboh and Barr. (Mrs.)Josephine Mike Ozekhome amongst others.
