The media and socio-political airspace is again overwhelmed by the storylines, hypes, and hues of an unusual amazon who many have described as a symbol of exemplary leadership and hope especially to the womenfolks.
Recently, a body of professionals and a frontline humanitarian group, The Nigerian House of Dream Parliament, NHODP, after a long, painstaking quiet investigation and due diligence consultation exercise, rose from a special committee meeting that unanimously affirmed the emergence of a lady with a towering track record, Dr. Gloria Kudi Ahmed, as the winner of the prestigious NHODP Award.

Gloria Kudi Ahmed, with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in humanities and philanthropic services from the Great Achievers University, United States of America in 2019, is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and currently the Director, Special Duties at the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning/ National Coordinator, Open Government Partnership.
She attended Army Children Primary School, Yaba, Lagos in 1976, proceeded to Idia College, Benin City in 1982 then St. Anne Secondary School, Otukpo in 1987 for her secondary education.

Ahmed proceeded to the School of Basic Studies, Zaria in 1987, later to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1988 and graduated in 1991 with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Geography. She has a post graduate diploma in management (PGDM) and masters of Business Administration degree (MBA) both from the university of calabar in 2004 and 2006 respectively. She also has a Masters Degree in Development Studies from the Prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy/ Military University, Kaduna, Nigeria in 2014.
A brilliant public administrator, family woman, astute believer in the gospel, amiable leader gifted in human resources management who maintains a quite disposition and excellent lifestyle, is Mada by tribe and hails from a small community of Kumin Tagwaye in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
The NHDOP Prestigious Award was established in the year 2013, with over 286 members and 60 delegates/representatives drawn from the country’s geo-political zones, wielding the mandate of promoting professional excellence across the sectors of the Nigerian economic space.
On the honors list, include the irrepressible High Chief Adakole Harris Ogbole, SAN; Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly; Hon. Uyime Idem, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Communication; and a host of other social crusaders too numerous to mention.
