The Redeemed Christian Church of God Province 18, the Ark of Distinction collaborated with Refuge and Consolation Ministry International in commemoration the World Sight Day to improve sights of both members and non-members.
The outreach that took place at the premises of the provincial headquarters in Abuja, 10th October, 2022 at 7:00a.m had in attendance thousands of patients from various faith and tribes.
The Global Director of the Foundation and Public Health Specialist, Dr. Juliana Nathaniel, encouraged participants to endeavour to take proper care of their eyes and have routine medical checkups, while some were ministered to, elderly people, breastfeeding mothers and people living with disabilities were given the privilege of immediate attention.
In his encouraging remarks, the Pastor in charge of Province, Sola Olukoya and wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Titi Olukoya who passionately appealed to patients to take their health serious stayed through to make sure that everyone was attended to.
Over 20 Optometrists and health workers attended to patients for the free check-up, in addition free glasses of various degree of cases were given.
The event ended at 7:00p.m.
