In commemoration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, which has been christened ‘Christmas’ the Chief of Staff to Edo State Government, Comrade Taiwo Akerele, a lover of Christ and children, has once again hosted children from within and outside Benin city, the Edo state capital, for merriment and other forms of conviviality, as a way of thanking God Almighty for the gift of life and other good things of life .
It has been an annual event, but the 2019 edition was indeed numerous steps ahead of the maiden edition and others, as this year’s event was spiced up with variety of shows, ranging from parents to children game, dancing competitions, thug of war, Merry-Go-Round, swinging, the arrival of Santa Claus and lots more.
The highly elated and super-cerebral Chief of staff, Comrade Taiwo Akerele, admonished parents not to relent in their efforts at ensuring that they bequeath immeasurable legacies to their children, wherein education must be conspicuously seen and felt as the topmost priority.
Highly sensational and edifying showers of encomiums and prayers were showered on the young dynamic chief of staff, and his project of always putting smiles on the faces of people as well as other humanitarian services, with the children, whose joy knew no bound, not left out in the marathon prayers and eulogy.
