After a rigorous process, crowned with a tremendous effort, Stars and Styles Communications and Publishing Company launches another book entitled ‘are the gods truly working?’ written by Cos- Lewis Osigbemhe, a young erudite.
It was all good song, well sang as Denis Hotel, Abuja was stormed by personalities in the society, the event was chaired by Mr. Peter Igho, former Director General, Natiomal Lottery Regatory Commission and Executive Director rtd, NTA.
However, the drama as reviewed by Prince Clem Agba, Commissioner of Environment and Public Unitilities, represented by Barrister Godwin Iyoke, gave insight on the “nature of our society as tied to cultural norms and belief; it engages the young ones on what to believe and the attitude to ‘wear’ in other to survive amidst all threats”, he said.
More so, the representative of the chairman also encouraged the young ones to hook up with their books and be creative and on the other hand urge the government and more privileged citizens to invest in knowledge as it is the best platform to invest.
The writer on his speech highly appreciated the guests and was quick to laud his mother and Publisher of the book Ms. Lois Otse Adams for her support and guidance towards achieving the landmark.
“I want to thank everyone for making it to this event and also want to appreciate my mum, Otse for her support. She has been there even when I try to give up, she encouraged me never to do so as failure is for those who give up. She is the best mum in the world”.
“I was privileged as a young boy to stay close to my grand mother and also understood the trends that shape our culture, these are what inspired me to write this work. I believe as a young boy I have many bridges to cross but a little beginning perhaps can go a long way. I hope this work affect the society positively which I strongly believe”.
Memorable indeed as the vote of thanks was given by the Head, Research Unit, Ojugbeli Macbeth on behalf of the Publisher, he thanked everyone for believing in the dreams of the young ones who are ready to use their pen to redefine the ills of the society. He therefore wished them well as they journeyed back home.
