The 50th birthday celebration, thanksgiving, and life of Pastor Sola Olukoya and his beautiful wife, Pastor Titi Olukoya encircle the rich adage of the primacy of hard work.
Growing up as the son of a poor teacher in a remote community, Pastor Sola Olukoya though subjected to a life of lack and deprivation did not allow poverty statistics indexes to number him.
The dynamic and well-anointed preacher of God’s word, also alongside his wife has had his hands soaked sparingly in the drum of philanthropic exercises.
The Olukoyas love for humanity and their penchant to remain humble see them doing all kinds of charitable works that address the issue of poverty in so many Nigerian homes.
The drummers and dancers comprising families, friends, preachers, and congregants had a field day. To them, the life of the amiable couple deserves their sweats and gyrations.
The pupils of Redeemer’s Embassy Academy, Yimitu showered the couple with innocuous accolades. Beaming with alluring smiles the students marched alongside the couple as they danced in reverence to their maker who had blessed them with long life and prosperity.
Taking the podium, the RCCG pastor recounts his life as a striving young man. He narrated how life was so difficult growing up as the son of a poor teacher. He had spent his childhood days doing all kinds of menial jobs in order to sponsor his education.
It is easy to see the affection he showered on his co-celebrant, and wife. He thanked her for being a wonderful wife during their challenging years and further praised her for remaining steadfast and caring against all odds.
Titi has always showered her husband with tributes and thanked him for being a loving husband and father.
Also taking the podium was the wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Mrs Oludolapo Osibanjo, ( née Soyode), who in her final remarks, prayed for the couple, asking the Almighty God to keep blessing them with fortune and good health. She wished them a happy golden birthday celebration.
Other VIPs attendees were also given the platform to speak. They celebrated the couple with tributes, drawing inspiration from the life of Pastor Sola Olukoya.
Having celebrated graduants of the three weeks free training with other sideline events, the celebration came to end with the cutting of the birthday cake and a vote of thanks from the celebrants.
