The management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, last week, hosted media personalities to a special cocktail reception at the hotel, where it unveiled its new programmes.
The event had several attendees from Print Media (Newspapers, Magazines), Broadcast Media (TV, Radio), Digital Media and New Media.
In his introductory remarks, the General Manager of the hotel, Bulent Tarlan, acknowledged the importance of the media in the 2030 mission of the hotel and also sought the support of the media in the delivery of quality services.
“It is important for you to be here with us, without your support we could not have done what we have done. Once again, we are immensely grateful for your support,” he said.

He further went on to unmask the 2030 mission goals that the hotel will be focused on; Environmental and Social Governance.
“We will like to meet with communities and leaders, reduce carbon emission across the globe, and deliver future generations to habitable earth.”
During the discussions, the PR team unveiled day, weekend, seasonal and occasional services that are enjoyed by customers at the hotel.
According to the hotel, such services include Travel Purpose Goals, Weekend Staycations, Extended Stay Packages, and Suite Life Packages.
The special packages unveiled will cover official and non-official gatherings like Valentine’s events, Easter Celebrations, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Independence Day, Ramadan, Weddings, and many more.

Other side attractions and new packages will attract lovers of music, dance, and food at the hotel’s Capital Bar, Zuma Restaurant, Bukka Restaurant, and Fulani Pool Bar.
The hotel also used the opportunity to invite the public to a Couple Dinner event, tagged, ” Dine & Laugh” on the 12th of February, 2023. There is also a “King Room Pool View” package for couples who wish to spend the night.
Speaking further, the team spoke extensively on the ESG Goals of the prestigious hotel, citing several charitable works and partnerships with stakeholders it had availed for itself and the public over the years.
The hotel had been involved in community cleanups, charity works, training of kids in community schools, visiting and advocating for the blind, awareness and cancer outreach, production and donations of soap to schools and communities, celebrating World Children’s Day, Children’s Day excursions, tree planting exercise in community schools, and monthly donations to Daughter of Charity Hospital for over 12 years.
Through a partnership with ACE Charity, the hotel has trained in the past year, 36 women in sewing.
