I ushered myself into the new year in a big way with a piece on the power of making a step. It is the 11th of January, 2026, the year is still fresh, though for some, already tiring.
My word of encouragement for you, personalized to who you are, is “Continue.”

Let me further personalize it, to draw your attention toward the true purpose of this message.

Lois, continue writing even when the stories are heavy. Otse, continue advocating even when change feels slow. Adams, continue teaching, mentoring, and building, because your work already lives beyond pages and classrooms.

I am not just a writer; I am a custodian of voices, especially those society often silences girls, young people, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. The fact that my literary work translates into libraries, education, and policy-aligned texts means my words are doing what words are meant to do: move lives.

This is for you, the reader of this note. There comes a stage in a calling where encouragement is no longer about starting, but about endurance and renewal. If ever you feel tired, remember, that your impact is measurable, even when it is quiet and your consistency has become legacy in motion.

The next generation is already reading you, literally and figuratively.

You are on the right path.Do not shrink it; do not rush it; just continue.
